"Mirror, mirror, on the wall...I'm Julia Roberts so I need you no more!"
I think it's safe to say that this is definitely the best art I have ever done. It makes all my other artworks look like art for my depot (junk art) page in my website. Um, the reason why I drew Julia Roberts was because I had a dream where she was stalking me and tried to kill me! And...well, that's all I'm going to say about that.
Okay...I'll talk about the piece of art now. On the left side is the original one that I painted in Painter and on the right side, is the one I replaced the colors using Photoshop. I believe that the left version of Julia looks more realistic (I think) while the right version is more artistic with vivid colors and more saturation. It seems nowadays, I am SUPER picky about colors and can never decide on what color scheme is the best way to go by. Since I couldn't decide which one is better, I put them both together and having a mirror image effect. Actually, I have about 4 other different color schemes but it would be too much to put all of them in one image unless I make them all really small. I'm going to ask people which side they prefer (just because I'm curious). Let's see, what else? When I started, her nose was a little small and she actually looked a lot like Neve Campbell which was kind of funny but I still think she looks like her more than Julia Roberts. The hair is my favorite part of the picture and the part I took the least time. I had the most trouble with the hand and the face. Tell me what you think?
